DISTURBING WITH INJECTION

Shortly thereafter [before leaving the world], Srila Sarasvati Thakura became afflicted by fever. Kunja Bihari Prabhu called in some of the most reputed doctors in the city to treat his guru-maharaja, who informed each of them of the temporality of the body and the need to perform Hari-seva. And when a doctor wanted to give him an injection Srila Sarasvati Thakura protested, "Why are you disturbing me in this way? Simply chant harinarna, that's all."
