On one occasion Prithu Prabhu (ACBSP) described an anecdote with Srila Prabhupada that occurred in Germany while Prithu was still temple president in one temple. which I don't remember where. Here it comes. Prithu was standing in front of the board where he was keeping pinned tags of devotee residents' names. This was his managerial routine. He was busy shifting the tags to assign the devotees to the services for the day. Suddenly someone tapped on his shoulder. Prithu turned and saw Prabhupada watching from behind. Srila Prabhupada asked, "What is this?" Prithu explained that this helps him to manage devotees to give them services in the temple. Srila Prabhupada said, "This will not work. It is LOVE and TRUST that make devotees do devotional service."
