Andha cātaka nyāyaḥ (blind man catching a bird)

By an accident a blind man catches a bird in his hand. But as an accident as it may seem, pleasant surprises are arranged by higher divine power, and therefore we often see God's hand in it.

The fact is that nobody is capable of doing anything without the ultimate sanction of the God, exactly according to the saying that not a blade of grass moves without the will of the God. We imagine to be in control of our sensory activities performed by the nature agencies of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, of which we are not a creator a bit anyway. But we boast: “I did this! I made that!” Sometime we may try to accomplish something for whole lifetime, but with naught success, but another time without a bit of effort we get unexpected super bonus. That proves that our own work and effort has very little to do with it. The proper cause of a good result, or any result, is our consciousness to please that divine person, i.e. Godhead, even to get the result such as an apparent accident of blind man catching a sparrow. Everything is arranged by Māyā or Mother Nature, who acts as a shadow will-potency of the God.
